He was born on April 20, 1966. He received his undergraduate degree in pure mathematics from the University of Adelaide in Australia and continued his studies at the University of Oxford. Chalmers received his PhD in philosophy and cognitive science from Indiana University Bloomington. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology program directed by Andy Clark at Washington University in St. Louis from 1993 to 1995, and his first professorship was at UC Santa Cruz, from August 1995 to December 1998. It is so sad that till today, the Arewa youth Forum have not learned to grow above using threats even when it is obvious that they cannot do more than saying what they publish. Arewa Youth Forum have noted that Fani-Kayode’s alleged lies against Buhari were aimed at creating tension and chaos in the country for his selfish interest. Introduction Ontology As the Science of Being Ontology can basically be said to be the science of being. It is that branch of Metaphysics which focuses on the study of being as being. Etymologically, it is derived from the two Greek words, onta meaning existence and logos meaning discourse. It is the study of the nature and meaning of being. The uniqueness of this field of study stem from the fact that it studies the most basic quality of all things which is not within the sphere of other disciplines. This because all that are in existence share one elusive property: being or existence. This quality or property is what concerns ontology. Aja further contends that, “ontology does not consider beings either from a material or immaterial aspects; rather it considers them under the general features which are common to all things and which are attributes or determinations of being  in general or being as such”. I INTRODUCTION Democracy  (Greek  demos, ”the people”; kratein, “to rule”), political system in which the people of a country rule through any form of government they choose to establish. In modern democracies, supreme authority is exercised for the most part by representatives elected by popular suffrage. The representatives may be supplanted by the electorate according to the legal procedures of recall and referendum, and they are, at least in principle, responsible to the electorate. In many democracies, such as the United States, both the executive head of government and the legislature are elected. In typical constitutional monarchies such as the United Kingdom and Norway, only the legislators are elected, and from their ranks a cabinet and a prime minister are chosen. Although often used interchangeably, the terms democracy and republic are not synonymous. Both systems delegate the power to govern to their elected representatives. In a republi
