Tribute To A Lovely Son ( By: Dabo Euclid)

The cloud was stirred and the brightness of the day was reduces drastically to the minimum, all things began to change as if the world was about to end but no! no! no!, Man cannot end the world he created not for man thought that one day, because of his evil deeds, God out of his anger will end the world. But God’s way differs from that of man’s. The end of the world for a Man as he perceived is the day the person has his or her last breath on his earth. It does not really matter how old the person is, what matters is “how well man lived his life and how prepared he was to face the judgment of the Lord”.
Today, our late brother, son and member Vincent De Paul Chionyegbuleya Modozie has met his own end of the world. Just as his name inscribed that persons God should not kill him or her, that has kept him going not  until this sadden day 25th February, 2017 when death knocked at his door. As the bible pointed out in Ecclesiastics Chapter (3) three from verse one (1) to thirteen (13) “There is season for everything, a time for every occupation under heaven a time for giving birth, a time for dying, a time for planting, a time for uprooting what has been planted…., a time for tears, a time for laughter, a time for mourning, a time for dancing….. We all gathered here to mourn with the diseased family, to watch, pray and commit the soul of our brother to God for him to accept his soul and give him a perfect rest in his kingdom or bosom.
We know it is a painful demise but God cannot be questioned. For the Bible says in Job Chapter 1 verses 21 “The Lord gave, the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord.  For in any condition we find ourselves, we should give thanks to the lord the author and finisher of life. Though he died a young seminarian but God knows why he took him at this moment we all needed him most.
Oh death! Where is thy strength, oh death!! Where is thy sting, oh death where is thy victory!!! Can you ever kill him again? He has won for he really fought the fight and won waiting for his crown of twelve stars as promised in the Bible. He was well behaved, pious and obedient, son of this noble congregation and our prayer is that the good Lord in his acme of goodness and in his superior of mercy treat his soul with pity and accept him in his kingdom. Amen! It is very pertinent to say Good Bye but we can’t do otherwise than to bid you fair well.
Modo! Vonvouage!
Modo! Lan Nke-Oma!
Modo! Good Night and see you soon!
